Course Description

This weekend course provides an opportunity in a relaxed retreat environment to explore the three foundations of psychological health from a Buddhist perspective.

The foundations include:

  1. Appreciating our human condition
  2. Developing mental stability
  3. Cultivating ethical conduct

Incorporating meditation, contemplation and discussion the aim of the course is to deepen our understanding and experience of the foundations as a working basis for both developing and maintaining our well-being. The recent 8-week course on Buddhism for Psychotherapy: Facilitating Psychological Health is a useful introduction to the course material, but is not a prerequisite for the weekend program.
